A proper job with a UK business, not another gig.
Mango & Co. places professionals in the Philippines into long-term remote roles with UK businesses. You do the work. We look after the client relationship, your hours, your pay and your time off, and you always have someone to go to.
About 40 minutes. When a role comes up that fits, you hear from us before it is advertised.
On every role we advertise
- Long term: one UK client full-time, or two part-time. Freelancers welcome
- Paid every week for the hours you clock
- Paid holiday, two paid personal days a year, Christmas Day and Boxing Day off
- Consistent shift times each week, stated in UK time and yours
- A UK account manager you can go to, and we deal with the client

What you get, beyond the salary on the advert.
Most remote work is a string of short contracts with nobody in your corner. We built the opposite. These are the terms every assistant works on.
- One or two clients, long term
- Full-time, you work with one UK business. Part-time, we aim to place you with two, so your week is still full. Either way it is for the long term: you learn their work properly and they learn to rely on you. If you freelance as well, that is fine with us: the hours you commit to a role are the only ones we ask for.
- Paid every week, from your own record
- You clock in and out in the workspace and your hours are recorded as you go. Each pay week runs Saturday to Friday and is paid the following Friday. You can see the hours and the pay before it arrives.
- Holiday, personal days and Christmas
- Paid holiday in line with your contract, pro rata if you work part time. Two paid personal days a year, same day, no reason needed. Christmas Day and Boxing Day are paid days off. Breaks are paid and taken within your shift.
- Someone to go to
- A UK account manager who is not your client. A shift that looks wrong, a request for time off, a client asking for more than was agreed: you raise it with us in Messages and we deal with the client.
- Hours you can plan around
- Every advert states the shift in UK time and in Manila time, for British summer and winter. We aim for fixed shifts: the same times every week, not a changing rota. We check a holiday request, then your client approves it.
- A proper start
- A welcome call on day one, a check-in every day in your first week, and written procedures with training attached. Reviews at four, eight and twelve weeks, with the outcome in writing.
If it is in the workspace, it happened. Your hours, your pay, your tasks and your messages are recorded there, and the record is open to you.
Read the advert closely. It is written to be read closely.
We would rather tell you what is hard about a role than have you find out in week two. In return, we ask you to be specific about what you have actually done.
- 1
The advert
Each advert describes the real work, what we need from you, and what will be difficult about it. Read the whole thing before you apply.
- 2
The application
About 40 minutes: your set-up, your experience in detail, two short stories, and the role's own questions. Read every question. Missing an instruction is the most common reason an application goes no further.
- 3
A test, references and a video
Two short tests, two referees who have worked with you, and a five-minute video recorded here. Only people who finish every step are considered further.
- 4
Interviews
By invitation, for the strongest applicants: a conversation with Mango & Co., then the client meets a shortlist of two or three. If you interview and are not chosen, ask and we will tell you specifically where we saw the gap.
- 5
The offer
For the person the client chooses: the offer, on the terms the advert stated, in a written contract before you start.
What we are hiring for now.
A role that has closed stays listed as closed, so if you saw it last week you can find out what happened.

Straight answers
Who do I work for?
Your contract and your pay sit with Mango & Co. Day to day you work with your client, or your two clients if you are part-time, and Mango & Co. is who you raise anything with, including time off, hours and anything that does not feel right.
Do I need to be in the Philippines?
Yes. We only hire in the Philippines, so the pay, the public holidays and the shift times are all set up for working from there.
I freelance. Can I still apply?
Yes. Plenty of good people keep other clients. What we ask is that the hours you take on for a role are hours you can give it, every week, at the times advertised. Say on the form what else you do and we will plan around it.
What are the hours?
Roles follow UK business hours unless the advert says otherwise. Each advert gives the shift in UK time and in Manila time, for both British summer and winter, because the UK moves its clocks and the Philippines does not.
What does it pay?
Where the salary is published, it is on the role page. Otherwise it is stated at interview. The offer is made on the terms you were given and set out in a written contract.
How do I get paid?
You clock in and out of every shift and post a short daily update before you finish. That verifies the day. The pay week runs Saturday to Friday and is paid the following Friday, and you can see the verified hours and the pay in the workspace before it lands.
What if I am not chosen?
We tell you. If you got as far as an interview and would like specific feedback on where the gap was, ask and we will write it out. We keep your details and contact you directly if a role that fits better comes up.
Can I apply if nothing is open?
Yes. Join the register: about 40 minutes on your set-up, your experience and two short stories. We only advertise roles we are actively hiring for, so the list is short, and when a role comes up we go to the register before we advertise it.
I already work with Mango & Co. Where do I sign in?
Use Sign in at the top of the page. Accounts are created by Mango & Co., so if you cannot get in, message your account manager and they will send a fresh invitation.
