Every role we fill starts here. Tell us about your experience once, properly, and when a role comes up that fits, we come to you before we advertise it.
We keep the register small on purpose, because every name on it is one we would put in front of a client with our own name attached. Being turned down is not a judgement on you; it usually means we do not place the kind of work you do. We will tell you either way.
Before you start
Be yourself, not AI
Using AI to help you is fine. Answers written entirely by AI count against you, and they are easy to spot. We want to meet the real you and understand your strengths and weaknesses: an honest answer in your own words counts for far more than a polished one from AI. Pasting from your own document is fine.
- It takes about 40 minutes. Your answers save as you go, and we email you a link so you can finish later.
- Read every question before you answer it. Missing an instruction is the most common reason an application does not go further.
- You will need a computer, not a phone: a Core i5 or Ryzen 5 or better, 8GB of memory, and internet of at least 10 Mbps down and 5 up.
- Run a test at speedtest.net first and keep the result link. You will paste it in.
- Have your CV ready as a PDF or Word file.
- Apply once. A second application from the same person is not read.
- When you reach the last box on the form, write the word "compass" in it, so we know you read this far.
